About us

We're a small team that plans trips
the way we'd want ours planned.

Nine years, a short list of clients, and one stubborn rule: never sell someone a holiday we wouldn't take ourselves.

How we started

Bookbindass began in 2016 with a small circle of friends and their friends, who kept asking the same question before a big trip — not where's cheapest, but where will this actually be extraordinary, and who do you know there? The honest answer usually took a conversation, not a brochure, and the relationships with hoteliers we built answering it are still what the business runs on.

So we built the business around the conversation. Every itinerary still starts with someone asking what you want out of the week, and ends with a plan you could hand to a stranger and have them understand exactly where they're sleeping, what it costs, and who to call.

What we believe

Advice beats inventory. Anyone can resell a hotel room. Knowing which wing of a Maldives resort has the better reef, or that a good Positano villa is booked out a year ahead, is the part worth paying for — so we don't charge separately for it.

Prices should be itemised. Stay, transfers, activities, taxes, our margin. If you can't see what a line costs, you can't tell whether it's worth it.

Support doesn't end at departure. Flights move, weather turns, ferries get cancelled. Someone from the team answers the phone while you're away, including at 2am.

The events side

Somewhere along the way the trips turned into events. Clients who had us plan a private week in the Maldives started asking whether we could also produce the celebration when they got home — and because we were already booking venues, transfers and hospitality, we could. Today we produce celebrity nights, private parties, weddings and spiritual programmes, handling the artist, the venue, the production and the guest logistics as one job.

We've hosted live shows with Parmish Verma and Sara Gurpal, and organised a spiritual event with Jaya Kishori. The useful part for you isn't the names — it's that the team has run rooms that size before, and knows what goes wrong in them.

Where we go

We plan across the Maldives, Santorini, the Amalfi Coast, the Swiss Alps, Bora Bora, Dubai, Seychelles and Kyoto, and a shorter list within India — Udaipur, Kashmir, Kerala and Ladakh, each chosen for a specific property or experience rather than the destination in general. If you want somewhere we don't list, ask anyway; we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right people for it.
